Oh hi! It's you! It's been SO LONG!
(I've been in such a tizzy)
I know I owe you a call and all
but my God HAVE I BEEN BUSY!

Work has been crazy as ever, you know
and the kids, they’re so demanding.
While all of the traveling has me unraveling;
it’s a miracle I’m still standing!

Oh wait, hold on, it's my other line;
just give me a second to see...
Hello? I'm back. It was just my dad-
haven't talked to him in weeks…

And you may remember,
from back in December
(was that really the last time we talked?)
My gluten free diet,
(you really should try it!)
means mealtimes are really quite blocked.

But when busyness ends,
I’ll have time for my friends;
just wait til the day I retire!
When I’ve paid off my loans
and my kids are all grown
and I have all the things I require.

After all of the saving
and all of the slaving,
I’ll finally have time to start living!
Once I have wealth
I just hope I have health
and that loved ones will all be forgiving..
